All Hands on Deck

On my first day in office, I declared a local state of emergency on homelessness to allow us to access as many resources as possible to confront the crisis. I know that this issue matters to you, it’s one of the reasons why you elected me to serve as your Mayor, and I know that many of you are probably wondering how you can lock arms with us as we move forward with the work ahead.

There are many existing impactful and strategic programs run by frontline service providers who are joining our efforts with Inside Safe to scale up services across the city.

We need all hands on deck to solve the homelessness crisis. Sign up here get updates on our progress and ways you can lend your support.

We have to restore the humanity around homelessness and we have to communicate the reality of homelessness – why people end up on our streets and who they are. I’m going to call upon you with your creativity, with your talent, with your platforms to help me do that. Help me set a new narrative in this city. Sign up here get updates on our progress and ways you can lend your support.

How to Help

There are many wonderful agencies in our City that respond to homelessness. Listed below are a few of these organizations, including several lead providers for Los Angeles Service Planning Areas (SPAs). These organizations know the challenges their clients and communities face, have the experience and insight to ensure volunteers are well informed and trained, and are currently looking for additional volunteers to assist in their missions.

Thank you for locking arms with us, each other, and this work.
